Boundaries are essential. You have to have boundaries when it comes to food. Boundaries means there are territorial lines that you don’t cross. In order to rid yourself of weight for good, you have to build boundaries that you can live with. A couple of things have to happen to have boundaries. First you need to draw those lines. Second, you must defend them and most importantly as with country boundaries, we have to have checkpoints. Checkpoints allow us to check and make sure crossing the boundaries we have set are ok or if our boundaries need stricter lines or defended more fervently.


Titus 2: 11-12 “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age”

Boundaries are a type of self-control. Self- control is godly and upright and not having boundaries with food is ungodly and we are handing ourselves over to worldly passions. Save passion for the bedroom. God designed that to be good and to not hold back from our spouse.

A big question I get is “What are the boundaries for the Real Normal Diet? Remember that we have checkpoints so there are times to allow yourself to cross these lines but they should be completely controlled yet giving yourself some grace. We all need grace and relief from time to time but only in small-limited portions. Remember a key to success is finding replacements for those cravings.

Here it goes. No bread, No corn, No Processed Sugars, No Soda, No store-bought fruit/vegetable juice, No cheese, No yogurt, No rice, No potatoes, and No items with ingredients made in a lab like high fructose corn syrup, partially hydrogenated oils, margarine, Splenda or other chemically formed things, I just can’t call them food.

What always comes next is so what can I eat? All the vegetables, fruits, fresh juiced juices you juiced yourself, Lean Meats, Eggs, Water, Tea, and beans that you want. There are some things to limit like Sausage, lunch meat, and butter. Butter is so much better than margarine, but eating sticks of it is not ok.
